FRAMOS Completes Croatia Campus

CAKOVEC, Croatia, Nov. 22, 2023 — FRAMOS, a provider of embedded vision technology, has completed its new campus building in Cakovec, Croatia. The new facility will increase the company’s production capacity and bring R&D and administration closer together to enable greater collaboration. The German-based company opened an office in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2020, noting at the time that it planned to expand its existing production facility in Cakovec. FRAMOS has branch offices in Canada, France, Italy, Israel, Russia, the U.K., and Croatia.

The facility's opening follows FRAMOS' collaboration with NXP Semiconductors, which sees FRAMOS' FSM:GO optical sensor modules supported by NXP's i.MX 8M Plus applications processors. The combination, the companies said, simplifies embedded vision device development without adding calibration requirements.
