FRAMOS & Restar Establish Joint Venture
TAUFKIRCHEN, Germany, Oct. 3, 2025 — FRAMOS announced a realignment with Restar Corporation, a long-term partner. The companies have created RESTAR FRAMOS Technologies as a joint venture. RESTAR FRAMOS will assume SONY image sensor and display distribution across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, effective this month.
Through this distribution arrangement, FRAMOS said, the company can focus on developing vision products and imaging solutions, including 2D/3D camera modules and AI-powered and edge-processing technologies for automation, robotics, healthcare, and smart devices.
