Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. of Quebec City has acquired all shares of Navtel Communications Inc. of Markham, Ontario, Canada, a provider of protocol test solutions for network equipment manufacturers and service providers. Consideration paid consists of 11 million CAD in cash. Exfo expects that the acquisition will strengthen its position within the protocol testing industry.
