Esterline CEO Appointed British Honorary Consul for Seattle
Bellevue, Wash.-based Esterline Corp., a specialty manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense and medical markets, announced that its chairman and CEO, Robert W. Cremin, has been appointed British Honorary Consul in Seattle. British Consul General Martin Uden said in a statement, "It's an important relationship and we want to ensure there is a visible and respected British presence in Seattle." Cremin said that although Esterline's corporate office and several of its subsidiaries have headquarters in the Northwest, the company employs more than 1100 British citizens and more than 20 percent of Esterline's annual revenue is generated from its nine UK manufacturing facilities.
