Erickson Joins CVI Melles Griot

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., May 7, 2010 — David Erickson has joined CVI Melles Griot as vice president of technology for optics and photonic products, the company announced Thursday.

Erickson, who has experience in managing photonic product engineering and manufacturing teams, will assist CVI Melles Griot in its acquisition, new product development and market development efforts. He also has managed technical teams in all aspects of optical systems design, integration, development, metrology and optical manufacturing for military, space and commercial-OEM systems.

"We look forward to the immediate contributions Dave can make in meeting customer needs regarding improved lead times, product specifications and product performance," said CVI Melles Griot CEO Stuart Schoenmann.

CVI Melles Griot supplies optical components and systems, lasers, motion-control systems, laser measurement instrumentation and optomechanical hardware to the semiconductor, biotech, industrial, commercial, aerospace and research industries.
