Eric Lindner to Head FBGS
JENA, Germany, Aug. 12, 2015 — Eric Lindner has been named CEO of FBGS Technologies GmbH, a developer and manufacturer of high-strength fiber Bragg gratings for sensing applications.
Lindner has held various leadership positions within FBGS since 2008. He has a master's degree in physics from Jena University and a doctorate from the Leibniz Institute of Photonics Technology. He was also involved in advanced research at the University of Sydney.
"During the past four years, FBGS underwent a tremendous change from a small and project-oriented company to a professional and internationally well-known supplier of high-quality fiber optic sensors," said Stephan Beier, chairman of the company's board of directors. "Now it is time to bring the company to the next level with a variety of interesting business opportunities."
