Elliot Scientific Signs Agreement

Elliot Scientific Ltd. of Harpenden, UK, has agreed to distribute IPG Photonics Corp.’s low-power (up to 20 W) continuous-wave and single-frequency diode-pumped fiber lasers within the UK and Ireland. Based in Oxford, Mass., IPG Photonics offers commercial and nontelecommunications fiber laser devices for a variety of applications. Elliot Scientific, a supplier of laser, optomechanical, cryogenic, magnetic and fiber optic components and systems, will distribute the company’s ytterbium-, erbium- and thulium-doped fiber lasers.
