The Naval Air Warfare Center (NAVAIR) weapons division of China Lake, Calif., has purchased seven Emerald MWIR-InSb cameras from Electrophysics Corp. of Fairfield, N.J., with an option to purchase an additional one. The cameras will be used in the Man Portable Air Defense program, which is designed for force protection through 360° threat detection at a distance.
