Elbit Systems Subsidiary Wins Boeing Contract

Vision Systems International LLC (VSI) of San Jose, Calif., has been awarded a $60.1 million contract from Boeing Co. for the supply of more than 300 joint helmet-mounted cueing systems for fighter planes within 18 months. VSI, which had developed the systems under previous Boeing contracts, is a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. of Haifa, Israel, and is jointly owned by Rockwell Collins Inc. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
