Edmund Optics of Barrington, N.J., has created the Vision Integrated Partners (VIP) team to provide on-site vision system integration services globally. The company has joined with Epic Vision Solutions of St. Louis, Braas Co. of Eden Prairie, Minn., Minarik Corp. of Glendale, Calif., Wineman Technology Inc. of Saginaw, Mich., and other system integrators to help customers solve machine vision problems. VIP, which can be contacted through the company’s sales force, assigns local automation specialists from team companies to help customers evaluate their needs and develop customized solutions.
