Edmund Optics has partnered with Luxexcel Group BV of the Netherlands to develop 3-D-printed plastic optical components. Luxexcel’s patented Printoptical technology uses additive manufacturing techniques to create smooth, transparent optical components including microstructures, arrays, prisms and freeform lenses.
