Eastman Kodak Co.'s Commercial & Government Systems delivered its high-resolution mirror assembly to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., for use in the agency's advanced x-ray astrophysics facility satellite. The assembly will undergo five months of x-ray testing before engineers integrate it into the satellite's telescope. Kodak also shipped a 26-ft-long optical bench to TRW in Redondo Beach, Calif., for integration with the satellite. NASA plans to launch the system satellite from the space shuttle in August of 1998.
