RIJSWIJK, Netherlands, Aug. 7, 2015 — Carlos Lee, director general of the European Photonics
Industry Consortium (EPIC), has been awarded the first Photonics Innovation Award by PNO Consultants
BV.

Lee was selected by PNO customers for his “continuous effort to promote the market of
photonics.”
"EPIC is dedicated to connecting businesses, [stimulating] innovation and [bringing] cooperation
between the parties,” Lee said. “It is therefore a great honor to be recognized by Europe's largest
grant consultancy dedicated to the market for photonics.”
The Photonics Innovation Award was created as a result of PNO’s increasing customer portfolio
in the field of photonics. EPIC will receive €3,000 worth of professional consultation services.
