BONN, Germany, and MURRAY HILL, N.J., Oct. 11 -- Lucent Technologies announced it has expanded and extended a contract with Deutsche Telekom, until the end of 2003, to supply optical networking technology for its worldwide transmission network.
Lucent was awarded a two-year contract in 2000 to supply an optical network for Deutsche Telekom. This one-year extension introduces new products, including the LambdaUnite MSS, into the network.
