Dalsa Awarded Image Sensor Chip Contract

WATERLOO, Ontario, May 18, 2006 -- Dalsa Corp. announced today it has received a contract to supply high-resolution image sensor chips to an undisclosed customer in the dalsachips.jpgprofessional imaging market. The contract, valued at CDN $1.9 million (US $1.73 million) is expected to be delivered over the next three months.

The chips will be "the eyes" of a high-performance photogrammetry camera system. Photogrammetry is the science of using aerial photographs and other remote sensing imagery to obtain accurate measurements of natural and human-made features on the Earth.
