Fujinon has named two new representatives to promote its CCTV equipment in the western and central US and in Canada. Joe Hays was appointed western regional sales manager, and Rob Russin was named central regional sales manager. They join Adam Colombo, who was recently named eastern region sales manager, in Fujinon's CCTV Product Division. Fujinon, which is based in Wayne, N.J., recently introduced a CCTV lens series for the machine vision and homeland security markets.    . . .    Steve Chu, director of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab), which is managed by the University of California for the US Department of Energy (DOE), has announced the lab’s new senior management team. The appointments are part of the university's proposal to continue its management of the lab under a new DOE contract. Graham Fleming, director of the physical biosciences division and an internationally recognized spectroscopist, has been named deputy director of the lab. Fleming would succeed Pier Oddone, who will become the fifth director of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Illinois, effective July 1. Chu also appointed two new associate laboratory directors (ALDs): Paul Alivisatos, who has served as materials sciences division director at the lab since 2003 and heads its molecular foundry program, will be ALD for physical sciences, and David McGraw, division director for business services, as ALD for operations.
