Raytheon Co. announced today that William H. Swanson was named CEO and president and was elected to its board of directors. Swanson has been president of Raytheon since July 2002; he succeeds Daniel P. Burnham. John D. Harris II has been elected vice president at Raytheon, replacing Richard Foley, who is retiring. Harris, who was appointed vice president of contracts for the company earlier this month, has also become a member of the Raytheon Co. Leadership Team.
