Hitachi America Ltd., a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd., has announced the formation of its Digital Media Div., effective July 1. Jiro Katsura has been appointed senior vice president and general manager of the division. Katsura has also been named head of the Hitachi America Home Electronics Div., succeeding Masahiro Fukuda, who is retiring from Hitachi Ltd.
