Schott Lithotec USA Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the German company Schott Lithotec AG, has acquired DuPont Photomasks' photoblank business unit. The companies also formed a strategic alliance to jointly develop advanced photoblanks, the substrates from which photomasks are fabricated. The deal is valued at up to $42 million.
