Quantum Dot Corp. (QDC) SC BioSciences Corp., Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. (MEI) and Matsushita Kotobuki Electronics (MKE) announced they have reached an agreement to develop, manufacture and market life science detection products. The companies, which have worked together since late 2002, plan to launch the first joint product next spring. QDC will retain sales and marketing rights of developed products and services domestically and abroad, and Healthcare Business Co., a division of MEI, and MKE will manufacture the final products. SC BioSciences, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corp., will work with QDC to sell products in Japan.    . . .    Herbert Goronkin has joined the board of the The NanoBusiness Alliance, which supports the development of nanotechnology and small technology industries. Goronkin recently retired from Motorola Inc. and was previously vice president and director of research in charge of Motorola's Physical Research Labs in Tempe, Arizona.   . . .   Mark Rajkowski, COO of digital and applied imaging and vice president of Eastman Kodak Co., has been elected to the board of Performance Technologies, a developer of unified systems design for the communications, industrial and military markets.
