L-3 Communications' subsidiary L-3 WESCAM has received a $19 million contract from Lockheed Martin Canada to provide MX-20 sensor systems for the Canadian Department of Defence's CP-140 Aurora incremental modernization program. The systems are in production and will be delivered in 2003 and 2004. Part of L-3 WESCAM's MX Series of electro-optic/infrared products, the MX-20 provides land or sea reconnaissance capabilities from a variety of rotary and fixed-wing aircraft using a combination of high-magnification day TV and forward-looking infrared sensors with gyro-stabilization.   . . .   Lumenis Ltd. announced that Shlomo Segev and Alexander Yuhjtman will serve the company as outside directors, and that director Boleslaw Goldman has resigned. Lumenis, which has US operations based in Santa Clara, Calif., makes laser and intense-pulse light devices for a variety of aesthetic, ophthalmic, surgical and dental applications.   . . .   American Honda Motor Co. has signed a non-binding letter of intent to buy 3800 Nomad systems from Microvision. Shipments are expected to begin in January, following Microvision's release of a new Nomad system later this year. Honda intends to distribute the Nomad Expert Technician systems to its Honda and Acura dealers and to independent repair shops in North America. The system is a hands-free wearable display and integrated wireless computer package that allows technicians to see test data and repair information while they're working on a task.
