Photonic Products and BFi OPTiLAS have signed an agreement enabling BFi OPTiLAS to distribute Photonic Products' products in Europe, including TE-cooled laser diode modules, circular and elliptical beam laser diode modules, receptacle packaged laser diodes, pigtailed laser diodes and fiber assemblies. . . . Lumenis Ltd. has appointed Hai Ben Israel as executive vice president for planning and resources. Ben Israel was president and CEO of Tadiran Electronic Systems, an Israeli defense company. He was formerly head of the Israeli Air Force logistics center and is a retired colonel. . . . Media Cybernetics Inc., a developer of image analysis software, has made as agreement with Olympus Optical Co. Ltd., of Japan, to distribute its Image-Pro software and Evolution scientific digital cameras in China. The agreement allows Olympus Optical's sales channel in China to combine Media Cybernetics' imaging products with Olympus' line of life science microscopes.
