Coviant, a provider of optical manufacturing services, has selected Palomar Technologies' automated assembly systems for precision placement and bonding of optical components. He will remain vice president of sales for Europe.   . . .   LightPath Technologies Inc., a manufacturer and integrator of precision-molded aspheric optics, GRADIUM glass products, fiber optic collimators, isolators and advanced manufacturing technologies, has announced that its CFO, Todd Childress, and CTO and senior vice president, Jean-Luc Nogues, will resign effective Sept. 20. Both men were previously officers of Geltech Inc., which LightPath acquired in September 2000. Bruce Bernacki will succeed Nogues as CTO. Donna Bogue, who previously served as LightPath's CFO, will assist with the transition until a permanent CFO is found.
