Aeroflex Inc., a manufacturer of automated testing solutions and microelectronics for the aerospace, defense and broadband communications markets, has announced it will discontinue its fiber optic lithium niobate modulator operation, due to price reductions for fiber optic modulators and a trend toward multifunction modules that incorporate modulators.
