OSI Systems Inc. filed suit last week against L-3 Communications Inc. over a joint bid by the two companies for assets that were auctioned by PerkinElmer Inc. and citing violation of California's unfair competition law. OSI seeks compensatory damages in excess of $100 million as well as punitive damages.
