Toppan Printing Co. Ltd. has acquired an equity position in Cambridge Display Technology (CDT). CDT recently bought the intellectual property rights to Opsys Ltd.'s dendrimer technology and management control of dendrimer development at Opsys's Oxford, England, facilities. A joint development agreement between Toppan and Opsys Ltd. will also be transferred to CDT/Opsys UK to develop full-color OLED display technology using LEP and dendrimer technology.
