George Farinsky has resigned from Intevac's board of directors as of May 2 and has withdrawn his name from the list of candidates for Intevac's board of directors. As a result of Farinsky's withdrawal, the company's shareholders will be asked to elect a board of six directors at its May 15 annual meeting. Robert Hempstead was appointed chairman of the audit committee effective May 6.   . . .   Ying Yeh was elected vice president of Eastman Kodak Co. Yeh, who is based in Hong Kong, has been vice chairman of Kodak's Greater China Region since February 2001 and is vice president of the Greater Asia Region and general manager of external affairs.
