CORNING, N.Y., Oct. 29 -- Corning Inc. will be the principal supplier of single-channel erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) for its high-speed transport system as part of a three-year supply agreement with Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., a telecommunications equipment provider based in China.
Huawei will use the Corning PureGain 1000 amplifier platform in its OptiX 10G SDH optical network systems.
