Companies to Develop Optical Sensor
CyberOptics Corp. of Minneapolis has partnered with Juki Corp. of Tokyo to develop a version of the former’s LaserAlign optical sensor. The Japanese company will incorporate the sensor into its chip shooters and high-speed flexible mounters, where the device will simultaneously align components on multiple placement head nozzles.
