Pagoulatos has held multiple executive roles in his career, including chief innovation officer, COO, and, most recently, CTO at EchoNous, a global health care innovation company.
BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. — Optics company Chroma Technology appointed Chris Karp director of sales. Karp previously worked at Chroma for nine years and served in several leadership positions including sales management and product design. STOCKHOLM — Hexagon AB’s executive vice president, Jürgen Dold, will resign from the company effective Jan. 1. Dold has been with Hexagon since 1995. He previously served in management roles at Leica Geosystems, and he ran Hexagon’s geosystems division as division president for 10 years. Most recently, Dold served in strategic leadership roles across divisions at Hexagon.
ALIDO VIEJO, Calif. — ViaLase Inc., a medical technology company that is developing a noninvasive, OCT-image-guided femtosecond laser treatment to enhance glaucoma patient care, added to its executive team with the appointments of Tom Frinzi as executive chairman of the board; Richard Lewis as chief medical officer; Shawn O’Neil as CCO; and Brendan O’Herily as vice president, global commercial operations.
MILIPITAS, Calif. — SVision Imaging, a company that develops advanced ophthalmic technologies, will operate under the new name Intalight. As part of the expansion, the company named Joe Garibaldi CCO. Garibaldi will lead the company’s U.S. office and oversee all aspects of the company’s commercial strategies. Garibaldi was formerly president and founder of West Coast Ophthalmic Instruments & Consulting. Prior to that, he was the vice president of global commercialization at Optovue.
