Photop Technologies Inc. has been established by the merger of Koncent Communication Inc., Sandgy Optronics Inc. and Fuzhou Microlattice Semiconductor Co. Ltd., all of Fuzhou, China, and Shanghai Uniwave Technology Co. Ltd. of Shanghai, China.

With facilities measuring more than 40,000 sq m, and 1000 employees, Photop will be equipped to provide products and services in passive and active components, devices and modules for fiber optic communications, and compound semiconductor crystals (GaAs and InP) as substrates for LED, laser diode and wireless communication components. The company also will supply optical components, crystals, and diode-pumped solid-state green and IR lasers.
