Cedrat Named Distributor for New Scale
New Scale Technologies Inc. of Victor, N.Y., has named Cedrat Technologies of Meylan, France, as European distributor of its patented ceramic piezoelectric Squiggle motors. The tiny ultrasonic linear motors, which are not much larger than a dime, are designed to allow customers to create smaller products and research tools. They are used in nanotechnology research, and in the microelectronics, optics, laser, aerospace and defense industries.
