Bruker AXS GmbH of Aachen, Germany, has closed on its acquisition of S.I.S. Surface Imaging Systems GmbH of Herzogenrath, also in Germany. The latter company, which develops, manufactures and distributes atomic force/scanning probe microscopy systems for various applications, will be renamed Bruker Nano GmbH and will operate under its previous management.
