Bruker BioSciences Elects Three New Directors

Bruker BioSciences Corp. of Billerica, Mass., announced the election Wednesday of three independent directors to its board. Elected to three-year terms were Wolf-Dieter Emmerich, a 35-year veteran of Netzsch Thermal Analysis in Selb, Germany; Brenda J. Furlong, most recently managing director and head of fixed income at Columbia Management Group, the primary investment management division of Bank of America Corp.; and Richard A. Packer, chairman and CEO of Zoll Medical Corp. of Chelmsford, Mass. Board chairman Frank H. Laukien was also re-elected to a three-year term. Bruker BioSciences is the parent company of Bruker AXS, Bruker Daltonics and Bruker Optics.
