Vision technology company Basler AG of Ahrensburg, Germany, has opened a sales and service office in South Korea to extend its reach in the Asian market. The bureau will enable it to provide improved support to its local customers in the flat-screen television sector. It is Basler's fourth facility in the region, joining other subsidiaries and offices in Taiwan, Singapore and Shanghai, China. The company provides inspection systems for the manufacturing process of the televisions.
