BRO Becomes SolidWorks Distributor
Breault Research Organization (BRO), the developer of Advanced Systems Analysis Program (ASAP) optical modeling software, has become an OEM distributor for SolidWorks Corp. BRO will now ship CAD-interoperable optical software products and maintenance continuations with the latest SolidWorks Parts 3D modeling engine. It will continue its partnership with McNeel & Associates, manufacturer of the Rhinoceros NURBS modeling package, but that Rhinoceros software releases will no longer be included with BRO products or maintenance continuations. However, the ASAP IGES format embedded in Rhinoceros will remain in place, it said.
