Axsys Technologies Inc. of Rocky Hill, Conn., a designer and developer of surveillance cameras, imaging systems and motion control technologies, has received a $13.5 million order from the US Army to provide infrared lenses for the Thermal Weapon Sight II Bridge program. The company expects to ship the majority of the order in 2009.
