Avantes Inc. of Boulder, Colo., will expand its presence in North America by partnering with Wilkens-Anderson Co., a distributor of laboratory instruments, supplies and chemicals. The Chicago company will bring expertise in marketing Avantes' spectrometers in the Midwest. Its product line also complements Avantes' spectroscopy systems.
