Argon ST to Acquire Radix
FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 19 -- Argon ST Inc. announced an agreement to acquire the outstanding stock of Radix Technologies, a Mountain View, Calif., maker of signal processing systems and equipment for military, intelligence and commercial applications such as reconnaissance, geolocation, antijamming, global positioning and communications systems.
Argon ST makes systems and sensors for the military, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, including signals intelligence), electronic support measures, electronic warfare, imaging and acoustic systems.
Robert Shanafelt, president and CEO of Radix, said its leading signal processing technology for reconnaissance and navigation will complement Argon ST's advanced signal intercept and processing systems to create new business opportunities for both companies.
