Altus Medical Gets Approval to Market Aesthetic Laser System in Europe

BURLINGAME, Calif., Sept. 14 -- Altus Medical, a US-based developer of aesthetic laser systems, has received the Conformite European (CE) mark of approval for its CoolGlide aesthetic laser system. The CoolGlide is a long-pulse Nd:YAG laser designed to remove hair and treat vascular lesions in light and dark skin types. The CE mark provides Altus Medical with the ability to market its laser all over Europe.
The award of the CE Mark represents a significant step in the growth of our company and will expand our presence in the global marketplace, said Kevin Connors, CEO and president of Altus Medical.
