Alexima of La Crescenta, Calif., and Awaiba Lda. of Funchal, Portugal, have partnered to focus on customized CMOS image sensor development. To meet the needs of individual camera manufacturers, they will share intellectual property and collaborate on product development. Awaiba's patents and other intellectual property enable it to fabricate high-dynamic CMOS, and high-speed and miniaturized image sensors.
