PARIS, Dec. 2 -- Alcatel announced it has signed a multimillion euro contract to provide a nationwide GSM/GPRS 1900 MHz network for Intelco International Telecommunications Ltd., a new telecommunications operator in Belize. Alcatel will also provide a local multipoint distribution system for various government fixed broadband wireless services.
Alcatel will manage the entire project, including network planning and implementation.
