TAIPEI, Taiwan, March 6, 2025 — Aetina, a provider of edge AI solutions, has entered into a partnership with edge-inference company Axelera AI to deliver high-performance, power-efficient AI inference solutions for industries such as smart transportation, surveillance, and retail. The collaboration introduces a portfolio of AI-optimized systems that integrate Axelera AI's AI accelerator cards with Aetina's hardware platforms. These solutions can be used in tasks such as object recognition, multicamera analysis, and AI-driven decision-making while addressing space and power constraints.

The portfolio created through Aetina’s collaboration with Axelera AI includes M.2 and PCle systems with ARM and x86-based architectures. Courtesy of Aetina.

These offerings include ARM and x86-based architectures from Aetina that integrate into M.2 and PCle systems from Axelera AI such as the AIE-KR1B-B1-AXE, AIP-MURE-A1AXE, and AIP-FR68-A1AXE.

All pre-validated Aetina/Axelera AI systems can integrate with centralized support spanning hardware, accelerator cards, and software. Pre-installed with the Voyager SDK, they support an “AI model zoo,” including capabilities in image classification, object detection, and pose estimation.

computer vision
Computer vision enables computers to interpret and make decisions based on visual data, such as images and videos. It involves the development of algorithms, techniques, and systems that enable machines to gain an understanding of the visual world, similar to how humans perceive and interpret visual information. Key aspects and tasks within computer vision include: Image recognition: Identifying and categorizing objects, scenes, or patterns within images. This involves training...
machine vision
Machine vision, also known as computer vision or computer sight, refers to the technology that enables machines, typically computers, to interpret and understand visual information from the world, much like the human visual system. It involves the development and application of algorithms and systems that allow machines to acquire, process, analyze, and make decisions based on visual data. Key aspects of machine vision include: Image acquisition: Machine vision systems use various...
