AT - Automation Technology has named Daniel Seiler CEO. Seiler will take over operational responsibilities from the founder and previous CEO, Michael Wandelt, who will assume responsibility for infrared product management with immediate effect. Seiler served as CEO for laser technology startup Cycle GmbH, during which time he served as a member of AT’s advisory board. He previously served as managing director at IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH, starting with the company as an application engineer. Of Seiler, Wandelt said, “He has learned machine vision from scratch and has already successfully managed a medium-size company in the image processing sector as managing director. In addition, through his business development in the U.S., he brings exactly the expertise that we need for our expansion plans.”
