Firms Join UK Machine Vision Group

The UK Industrial Vision Association recently announced five new members: Acrovision, AlphaChase, IDS Imaging Development Systems, Industrial Vision Systems and Scandinavian Machine Vision.

Acrovision is an integrator of inspection and barcode reading systems. AlphaChase specializes in conveyor systems. IDS Imaging develops and sells USB industrial cameras. Industrial Vision Systems Ltd. specializes in supply and support. Scandinavian Machine Vision is an independent integrator.

The UK Industrial Vision Association promotes the use of image processing technology by the manufacturing industry. It also provides information on other forms of electronic imaging such as IR, x-ray and high speed cameras.

“Growth in UKIVA membership is generally a positive indicator of the strength of the vision market in the UK,” said association Chairman Mark Williamson.
