Nu Quantum Launches Quantum Datacenter Alliance

Nu Quantum, a quantum computing company, has launched the Quantum Data Centre Alliance (QDA) in an effort to bring together leading companies representing different layers of the quantum computing stack and create a forum on data center-scale quantum computers.

Along with Nu Quantum, founding members of the alliance include Cisco, NTT Data, OQC, QphoX, Quantinuum, and QuEra Computing. According to the companies, the QDA presents an open community to discuss the opportunities and challenges on the road to building large, scalable, and robust quantum computing services.

“We embrace collaborations like the QDA that support and develop potential technology paths to fast-track universal, fault-tolerant quantum computing,” said Jenni Strabley, vice president and general manager of compute products at Quantinuum. “Partnerships are key to building a complete quantum stack and unlocking transformative possibilities.”

The QDA will host an inaugural in-person event this year to share insights and explore topics such as distributed architectures, scaling, standardization, and interoperability.

“We look forward to welcoming more participants and associates to accelerate the industry further,” said Nu Quantum CEO Carmen Palacios-Berraquero.
