Luxinar Adds Managing Director: People in the News: 1/22/25
Laser manufacturer Luxinar has named
Stefan Hackl as managing director. In this role, Hackl will lead the company’s workforce at the Hull, England, manufacturing site and headquarters as well as the employees at Luxinar’s sales and service offices in China, Germany, Italy, Korea, and the United States. Hackl has leadership experience in the automotive industry and previously served as plant manager at SAS Interior Modules.

Henning Tiarks has been appointed as chief product officer for the TKH 2D Vision Group, which comprises the TKH Vision brands Allied Vision, Chromasens, Euresys, Mikrotron, NET, and SVS-Vistek. Tiarks has more than 15 years of leadership experience as an executive manager and business unit leader, with a background in product management, strategic marketing, as well as research and development.

BERNIN, France — Soitec, a designer and producer of semiconductor materials, has named
Ruth Hernandez as chief sales officer. Hernandez has more than 25 years of experience working with major semiconductor companies including Texas Instruments, Maxim Integrated, and GlobalFoundries.
STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Hexagon’s board of directors has appointed
Anders Svensson president and CEO. Svensson will take office on or before July 20, succeeding Norbert Hanke, who will continue as interim president and CEO until then. Svensson joins Hexagon from material handling solutions company Konecranes, where he has been president and CEO since October 2022. Since 2008, he held various leadership positions within Sandvik, most recently as president of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and as a member of Sandvik group executive management.
