Phantom AI Raises $36.5M in Series C
Phantom AI, a Silicon Valley startup providing a comprehensive autonomous driving platform featuring computer vision, sensor fusion, and control capabilities, secured $36.5 million in series C funding to accelerate its current production development with major OEMs. The company has raised a total of $80.2 million since its founding in 2017.
Phantom AI has introduced individual modules for its computer vision, sensor fusion, and control mechanisms. The company’s PhantomVision solution is a scalable, deep learning-based computer vision solution that provides a suite of advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS features). It is a visual perception engine that enables single or multiple cameras to autonomously recognize road objects and sophisticated traffic directions in the vicinity of its driving path. The multicamera system covers a 360° view from the vehicle in a combination of front-, side-, and rear-view cameras.
The company has also developed the PhantomFusion sensor fusion and object tracking system, as well as the PhantomDrive vehicle control solution.
