Riccardi, Schaefer Join Ocean Optics
Optical technology provider Ocean Optics Inc. has named Jack Riccardi and David Schaefer executives and members of its board of directors.
Riccardi has joined the company as its vice president of finance. He will be responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, IT and office administration. Previously, he served as the chief financial officer of MDNA Life Sciences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a master’s degree in operations science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Schaefer has joined the company as vice president of sales and strategic marketing. He will be responsible for global sales and marketing of the company’s entire line of spectrometers, chemical sensors, analytical instrumentation and accessories. Previously, he was the chief marketing officer at AxelaCare. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
Ocean Optics is a supplier of spectral solutions for optical sensing.
