Amanda Dobbins Named Director of Business Development at Scanlab

Amanda Dobbins has been chosen as the director of business development for Scanlab America Inc.

Dobbins has 20 years of experience working with OEM companies, helping develop systems that use sensors, precision optics and beam-steering devices. She was formerly the director of sales and marketing for an optical components manufacturer, where she was responsible for new product introductions and collaborations in medical devices and analytical instrumentation. She has spent more than a decade involved in applications such as laser materials processing, biophotonics and ophthalmology.

At Scanlab, Dobbins will focus on the development of laser scanning solutions.

Dobbins has a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Leicester in England.
